Future Home of the CMLD: SBC III

The KU CMLD eagerly anticipates the completion of the third phase of construction on the Structural Biology Center on KU’s west campus! Set to be finished in the spring of 2008, this $16.5 million, 35,000+ square-foot addition will extend west from the existing SBC, adjacent to KU’s new Multidisciplinary Research Building (MRB). The addition will boast 20,854 square feet of net research space, to be occupied by the CMLD Center, KU's High Throughput Screening Laboratory, COBRE CCET Synthesis lab, Prof. Aubé’s research group, and the University of Kansas Cancer Center Office of Therapeutics, Discovery and Development led by Dr. Scott Weir.
